Modie voting will begin today!

We are putting the finishing touches on the Modie's voting system (don't want boutique fraud ;) and then we will release it. Should be in another hour!

We have our finalists!

I know who the top 5 finalists in each category are! Emails will be sent out on Monday.

The finalists will need to submit an additional 2 pictures showing detail of their designs and then we will start the public voting!

I received the trophies last week and they are so fun! Can't wait to ship them out.

So, I'm a loser, lol

Since I forgot to send out a reminder email regarding the Modie's closing on Saturday, I'm extending the entry deadline until Wednesday.

Voting will take place on Thursday. Sorry for the trouble and thanks for all the entries so far. I'm not sure how we are going to pick from all the fantastic designs.

See the entries so far!

Now when you login you can see the entries that have come in. Click "See the Entries" right under the Modie entry link. I'm sure there will be new ones to see everyday!

We need more entries in the following categories: boys outfit, bags/totes/ handpainted clothing, costumes, jewelry, hair accessory and room decor. Come on designers!

Oh and we have no entries for template designers.

Still lots of time to enter!

Photo Issue Fixed (we hope)

If you submitted a photo for the Modie Awards and the top and bottom were cut off (or you didn't like the look), please submit it again. We fixed the problem that was causing this (but couldn't fix your pictures.)

2006 MODIE AWARDS are here!

Enter your design in the Journal Modiste 2006 Modie Awards. All current paid members of Journal Modiste are eligible to enter. We have some great prizes lined up! You could win one of 10 "Modie" Awards trophies.

These are actual trophies you can proudly display in your design room, living room, even bathroom. When the trophies get to my house I snap a few pics to show you how lovely they are.
