See Nicole's current eBay auctions: Coletto's Closet

JM: Nicole, when did you get started sewing and creating?

Nicole: My mom has being sewing since I can remember, but back then I had no interest. After the birth of my daughters and seeing all these beautiful clothes- I had the desire. With my moms expertise and the help of a few friends, it all began! The inspiration comes from my girls and their personalities! (which they have a lot of!!)

JM: When did you start selling your designs?

Nicole: I started selling to local customers about 2 years ago- through word of mouth, then ventured onto Ebay about a year ago. The first set I sold on ebay was a Minnie Mouse twirl skirt set- that sold for about $45.00.

JM: How did come up with your name, Coletto's Closet ?

Nicole: With my name being Nicole- my husband has always called me Nicoletto- so he thought my name should be Coletto's Closet... and it stuck. I had thought about changing it, but I am not much for change!

JM: Do you belong to any boutique group?

Nicole: I am a proud member PoppySt. Boutique. I applied to the group after seeing their talent and wonderful designs and they gave me a home. I love that group of ladies are so nice and kind. We are a great fit- with no drama!

JM: Do you have a favorite item to create?

Nicole: I love to design fun, whimsical designs that are also practical. I love for my girls to look cute- but also be comfortable.

JM: If you could learn some new skills, what would they be?

Nicole: I would love to knit. It really isn't an importance- but it sure is cute!! I love the knit hats.

JM: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?

Nicole:Anywhere sunny and warm - with a beach!!

JM: What other things do you enjoy besides sewing?

Nicole: I love to spend time with my family. We love to spend lots of time at the beach during our summers, on the slopes in the winters- and spring and fall the kids play soccer and baseball. They keep us busy.

JM: Anything else you would like to add?

Nicole:I would like to thank you for this interview. I am so thankful that I was chosen and have had this honor. Again, thank you.
