JM: When did your interest in bow-making start?

JAMIE: It would have to have been with I found out that I was having a girl during my first pregnancy.... I made some tiny bows for Jilli, and the addiction, er, passion grew from there! I owned a flower shop for 5 years with my Nana, and made bows daily to go on arrangements. Hair Bows are certainly a different *type* of bow, but same concept really!

JM: What should we know about bow-making?

JAMIE: It is a lot more time consuming then some people think.....especially the more elaborate stacked bows....the really FUN ones! ;)

JM: When did you start selling your designs on eBay?

JAMIE:It will be 2 years Sept. 2ND! Do you sell anywhere else besides eBay? Yes, I have many local customers as well as a local boutique that sells my hair bows!

JM: Do you remember the first item you sold on eBay?

JAMIE: Hmmmm....I believe it was a set of hair bows M2M Gymbo's Hide & Seek line. How much did it sell for? I believe around $10 and I was THRILLED! :)

JM: Where did come up with your name?

JAMIE: Well it definitely is inspired by my Jilli-Bean! I wanted a name that would represent my work, be it hair bows or other fun products.

JM: Do you belong to any boutique group?

JAMIE: Yes, I belong to BowFairies Lil Peas Boutique, Boutique Eden I was approached by Linda (Ribbon_Rock*Star), of the BowFairies, and I was so excited to join them! I was also asked to join the Lil Peas, and Boutique Eden, both groups I just adore! What do you like most about your particular group? All 3 of the groups that I'm in are full of very positive, easy going ladies.....I am a VERY lucky girl! I really LOVE working with these women!

JM: What are your favorite materials to work with?

JAMIE:Well, my favorite ribbon is grosgrain....but I enjoy adding different items to my bows that make them a bit off the wall or out of the box.

JM: If you could learn some new skills, what would they be?

JAMIE:I would love to learn to sew! In fact I have some classes scheduled that I'm really excited about! I think that I would really enjoy sewing.....even if it is just clothing for my girls, or a blanket even.....I always loved having hand made reminders of my great-grandma and hope that my girls will grow to love them as well.

JM: What was your first job?

JAMIE: It was teaching dance, (tap, ballet, and gymnastics) to 2 year olds! How much did you earn? I traded my dance lessons for my teaching. I have SO many fond memories and friends from dancing.....many of us danced together for nearly 20 years!

JM: What other things do you enjoy besides making great bows?

JAMIE: Spending time with my family, photography, anything creative really.....

JM: Anything else you would like to add?

JAMIE:I just want to thank you for this wonderful opportunity! I have met some wonderful people, through eBay and have made so many awesome friends! :)
