1. When did you get started sewing and creating? Who taught you?

I had an interest since I was very young. My grandmother was a very talented woman. She started showing me little things when I was around 5 or 6 and over time I developed. I learn something new each and everyday. She taught me that it was ok to experiment and to have patience. She passed almost 7 years ago, and I still to this day sew every creation on her machine.

2. When did you start selling your designs on eBay? Do you sell anywhere else besides eBay, if so where? (example, web site, local boutique) What did you do before eBay?

I started selling my designs in April of 2004 on ebay, before then it was just something I did at home for my family. I am actually a childrens artist. I design and paint children's rooms locally. I have been doing that forever.

2a. Do you remember the first outfit you sold on eBay. Do you have a picture? What was it and what did it sell for?

Yes, I have a picture. My first outfit I sold was a simple hawaiian print romper, I think it went for $39? The lady ended up reselling at a later date and it sold for more, LOL!

3. How did you decide upon your name .

I really don't remember how I came up with it? I have had it so long.

4. Do you belong to any boutique group and if so which one? How did you get started in that group? What do you like most about your particular group?

I am in the Boutique Belles, a very talented group of ladies. I love each and every one of them, they are like my extended family. We support each other through it all. Not too mention they have me laughing so hard at times I could pee my pants! My family thinks I have lost it laughing at the computer so much!

5. What is your favorite thing to create? (example: vintage style dresses, totes, overalls, etc) Why?

I let my fabric talk to me. Certain prints say different things. I get bored easily so I am always doing something new. I love ruffles and all types of hats!

6. What are your favorite types of fabrics or fabric designers? Why?

I like to use something that is easy for my customers to just wash and wear. I have used anything from soft pastels and girly prints to bright and funky. I have too many favorites to mention them all!

7. Where and when do you do most of your sewing? Are you neat about it or do you have fabric covering the floor!

I do most of my sewing at night. Neat? Who me? If my customers saw my room they would never know how I create. I would love to say I am neat, lets just say I know where it all is. :)

8. What other things do you enjoy besides sewing?

I love to paint, go off roading (mudding) and 4 wheeling with my kids on the beach.

9.Anything else you would like to add?

Just like to thank you for giving me the opportunity for the interview! Thanks!
